Birthday Party at the Farm
Birthday Party at BF Petting Farm
- A $50 deposit is required to reserve your date and will be applied toward the total party cost. The deposit will be refunded if the party is canceled in advance due to anticipated bad weather, or credited toward a rescheduled date.
- Open: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Please note: The birthday party area must be cleaned and vacated by 3:00 PM. (Hours may vary due to scheduled weddings.) - Entry Fee: $8.00 per person (ages 2 through adult).
- Check-In: All guests must check in with our assistant before entering the farm.
- Payment: The host will pay at the end of the party based on the final guest count.
- Access Includes: Petting farm area, animal feed, playground, and covered pavilion.
Provided for your use:- One (1) 6' table
- One (1) 8' table for food, cake, and gifts
- Twelve (12) 6' picnic tables
- Trash can
- Setup & Decorations: You may arrive up to one hour prior to your party start time for decorating and setup.
- Decoration Policy:
- No staples, tape, or substances that could damage painted surfaces.
- No balloons (latex or mylar), confetti, or other non-biodegradable items—these pose a hazard to animals.
- Food & Drink:
- You may bring your own cake, food, and refreshments.
- Coolers are allowed.
- No glass bottles or containers permitted.
- No food or drink is allowed inside the animal areas.
- Safety & Supervision:
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times and are expected to follow farm rules.
- Wash hands with soap and water before eating or drinking, especially after animal contact.
- Wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
- Prohibited Items & Conduct:
- No smoking, vaping, or alcoholic beverages
- No music, microphones, noisemakers, or excessive yelling
- No weapons or fireworks
- No pets (only service animals trained to assist individuals with disabilities are permitted)
- Weather Policy:
- We do not offer refunds due to bad weather unless canceled in advance, in which case the deposit may be refunded or applied to a new date.
- Behavior Policy:
Any individual behaving in an unruly or disrespectful manner toward the property, staff, or owner, or violating farm rules, may be asked to leave the premises. The $50 deposit will not be refunded or applied if any part of this agreement is violated.

Farm Policies – BF Petting Farm
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests and animals, visitors are expected to follow the rules of BF Petting Farm. Failure to do so may result in being asked to leave the premises.
- Closing Time:
The farm closes at 4:00 PM. All visitors must leave the property by this time. - Animal Welfare Comes First:
Our top priority is the safety and well-being of the animals. They require gentle and respectful handling please remember, you are a guest in their home.
Supervision of Children:- Children must be supervised at all times.
- All children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
- “Accompanied” means the adult must be within sight and normal speaking distance of the child.
- Adults are fully responsible for the behavior of the children in their care and must ensure they follow farm rules.
- Children who are unwilling to follow the rules, along with their supervising adult, may be asked to leave.
- Animal Feeding Guidelines:
- Only feed animals cut-up fruits or vegetables provided by BF Petting Farm.
- Hold the food by the end and feed it by hand do not throw food on the ground for cows, goats, sheep, donkeys, or ponies.
- You may toss food onto the ground for chickens, ducks, or pigs.
- No outside food is allowed in the animal areas.
- Respect for Animals and Property:
- No acts of violence, aggression, or behavior intended to harm, scare, or distress the animals.
- Do not throw trash, rocks, sticks, dirt, or any objects at the animals or into their water containers.
- Do not scream at, taunt, or provoke the animals.
- Do not chase the chickens or ducks—they do not wish to be petted.
- Prohibited Items and Behavior:
- No smoking, alcohol, or weapons are permitted on the premises.
- No pets are allowed. Only trained service animals assisting a person with a disability are permitted.
- Do not eat or drink while interacting with animals.
- Please wash your hands after contact with animals. Washing stations are located near the restrooms and picnic area.
- Safety Around Enclosures:
- Do not climb fences, open gates, or enter animal pens.
- Do not allow children to sit, stand, or be held over the fences.
- Right to Refuse Entry:
Management reserves the right to refuse or revoke entry to any individual who does not follow the farm’s policies.
